I- Stands for INTERCESSION. We believe that in finding ways to purposefully join together in corporate intercessory worship, H- Stands for HOLINESS. Holiness to a Christian is a natural response to experiencing the love of God and His delight in us. O- Stands for OFFERINGS. The gospel is embodied in service to the poor, widowed, and orphaned. True religion and true service P- Stands for PROPHETIC.
WE VALUE: The active pursuit of personal and corporate intimacy with God through extravagant devotion, prayer, worship and a simplified lifestyle. (Psalm 27:4) A posture for our public meetings that creates a resting place for God, a geographic place and environment where He is manifestly present. This posture includes combining worship and intercession (Revelations 5:8), praying in the Spirit and spontaneous singing (I Corinthians 14:14-15), and cultivating a prophetic spirit on the musicians (I Chronicles 25:1-5), singers and intercessors. The development of 24/7 unified worship and prayer, believing the prophetic promise of Jesus that His church will function as a house of prayer. (Matthew 21:13) Harmony with other believers in the ministry of prayer, so we emphasize the use of Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16), especially the recorded prayers of the Scriptures, as a framework from which to pray. Intercession to change the spiritual atmosphere of the greater Lansing/ Mid-Michigan area to bring about renewal of the church and salvation of the lost and to establish Lansing as a city of refuge in the last days.. A strategy for spiritual warfare that releases the power of God rather than focusing on the power of the enemy (Ephesians 6). The revelation of the end time judgments of God because it was in this context (Luke 17:22-37) that Jesus called His people to night and day prayer for the release of “speedy” justice in the earth (Luke 18:1-8). Evangelism, world missions and serving the poor. We desire to participate with the Holy Spirit in a global prayer strategy that will result in an unprecedented harvest of souls before the Lord returns.
